DeepBench Selected as Finalist for MIT Sloan CIO Symposium’s Innovation Showcase
Cambridge, MA — May 15, 2019 — The 16th annual MIT Sloan CIO Symposium announced DeepBench as one of the ten finalists for the 2019 Innovation Showcase, with its cutting-edge software solution in the enterprise IT space focused on expertise matching. DeepBench will receive key exposure to many of the world’s most creative and influential IT executives at the Symposium on May 22, 2019.
“Knowledge exists, but it is often trapped and siloed. At DeepBench, we are empowering people and organizations to discover, unlock, and access their expertise.”
“Knowledge exists, but it is often trapped and siloed. At DeepBench, we are empowering people and organizations to discover, unlock, and access their expertise,” says Yishi Zuo, Co-Founder and MIT Sloan business school graduate. Having experienced the frustrations of accessing knowledge first-hand during his time at Goldman Sachs, he has since collaborated with a well-balanced team of management consultants and MIT computer science engineers to develop a solution to better knowledge access and management.
DeepBench’s platform is a powerful software solution that addresses a two-sided issue: seeking external advice is expensive, and accessing internal expertise is complicated. There are also 300 million+ knowledge workers globally. The DeepBench team has developed the enterprise software infrastructure to organize internal knowledge, and match the right expertise with client requests.
“It is a tremendous honor to award these 10 companies for our 2019 Innovation Showcase,” said Anton Teodorescu, Co-Chair of the Innovation Showcase. “We consider these insightful technologies to represent the strongest innovation to help lead a smarter enterprise.”
After careful consideration, the Innovation Showcase Judges evaluated and selected DeepBench for this honor based on four important criteria:
1. Have an enterprise IT solution product available in the market;
2. Are a start-up with less than $10 million in 2018 annual revenues;
3. Are selling enterprise IT solutions to CIOs or corporate IT departments; and
4. Show innovation and/or strategic value and potential impact on the top and/or bottom lines.
The Innovation Showcase will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Kresge courtyard tent on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at MIT in Cambridge, MA. The full agenda for the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium is available at www.mitcio.com/agenda.
